There's no stopping me now.
Mummy's also bought loads of new slings and stuff - she says something about baby sling hire.
On Saturday morning I went swimming (in a Dolphin), later on I ate some grass and mint in the garden while Daddy proceeded to make a mess.
On Sunday I had a Sunday carvery roast for lunch (broccoli, broccoli and peas followed by Apple Crumble (yum yum) and a blackberry and apple pie with cream (yum yum! - except Mummy wouldn't give me any of the pastry stuff which looked interesting)), and then we went swimming again (it was a different place, and I didn't like the cold outdoor pool that much, although the salty water was nice to lick!)
On Monday, I ate the following :
I say it because I can. Da Da Da Da Da Da Da Da.
I don't like hot weather; it makes me sweat everywhere. Saturday night was horrible, as I got very uncomfortable when lying in bed with a sweaty back.
Strangely, last night there was a constant droning noise and a light breeze in the bedroom. This made it far more bearable and I didn't sweat nearly as much.
Before I went to sleep, Daddy and I played jump, which was fun!
On Sunday night I had a very restful night - I just couldn't sleep for long. Thankfully Mummy was kind enough to settle me back to sleep, even if I did wake up every hour and a half.
On Monday night, I noticed Mummy reading a new book - and things changed a little - the room was darker, and Mummy didn't let me fall asleep latched on! I wasn't too keen on this to start with (old habits die hard and all that).
Two days ago Mummy had me weighed. I was 18lb 3oz. I am continuing to track the 75th centile.
Mummy has been really nice to me, and hasn't yet complained that I have a 2 hourly routine at night. She has however had fun (with Daddy) in trying to get me to drink from mugs, beakers and yesterday I had a slice of pear in my mouth. It's not as good as milk!
As always, there are random videos of my exploits at http://youtube.com/user/Gingerdog
I was definitely pretending when I did all that good sleeping, but Mummy doesn't mind so much as it was really hot when I was waking up a lot and I was obviously thirsty. Now I'm pretty much back to the old 3 hourly routine, which means 2 night feeds, which Mummy is quite happy with.
Last week I fooled Mummy into thinking her sleep worries were over by sleeping a solid week of 2 lots of around 4 hours. She was very very happy as this meant only one night feed. Then, over the weekend we were away and I never sleep well when I don't get my routine and my old bed, so that messed it up.
Today, we were in Reading, staying with Hannah, Joe and Oscar.
Hannah passed her driving test today - I'm not sure what this means, but everyone seemed happy.
In the morning, Daddy disappeared (as he often does) and Mummy and I went to the local shops with Oscar and Joe. Joe's a bit scary as he has a hairy chin and four eyes. Oscar on the other hand is a like a little monkey - always on the move.
